Holy Trinity Catholic Church - Christmas Decorating
What:  Help put up the trees and prepare the Church for Christmas

Holy Trinity RCIA Child Care
What:  Watch twin 4 1/2 year olds during the RCIA Classes
Where: Holy Trinity Parish Center

Special Olympics Basketball Tournament (Holiday Classic)
What:  Help with the Special Olympics basketball tournament that is part of the State Farm Holiday Classic.  You would help run clock and keep score for the athletes.  As an added bonus, you get free admission to the Arena for that day, if your team is playing at the arena.  You can work as many games as you like.
Where:  One of the sites for the Holiday Classic (check with contact below)
When:  Tuesday, December 30th - games run from 9 AM to 5 PM or 6 PM

Holy Trinity Church - Christmas Decorations
What:  Help take down the trees and prepare the Church for Ordinary Time

St. Mary's Parish Mission
What:  St. Mary's School is running two fish fry's during the season of Lent.  There are volunteer opportunities 
for teenagers to help (1) Set-Up/Fish Prep on Thursday  evening  (2) Hospitality Friday evening   (3) Childcare Helpers Friday evening and   (4) Clean-Up Friday evening.  Here is a link to the Sign-Up Genius

Corpus Christi Lenten School Fish Fry
What:  Corpus Christi is sponsoring a Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, February 12th, 2016.  They are looking for volunteers to help with this worthwhile fundraiser.  It is a good way to give community service and promote catholic education.

Family Day Carnival - St. Patrick Catholic Church of Merna 
What:  Annual Family Day Carnival.  It is an opportunity to help build community within the Parish and build up the Kingdom of God.  It would mostly be working with the youth at the different fun events they will have for them.This is a great opportunity to give back to your parish!

Vacation Bible School - Decorating
What:  Help with the preparations and decorations that go along with the 2015 Vacation Bible School.  You can work part or all of the time on any or all of the days.  See your Theology teacher or the parish representative listed below to sign up or for more information.  See the ongoing page for more information on the actual Vacation Bible School.

OSF St. James Medical Center Junior Volunteer Program
What:  An opportunity to volunteer at the OSF St. James Medical Center over the summer.  There are many different opportunities to volunteer:  with patients, or information technology or even as a musician to name a few.  If you are interested, you need to apply online at the following link by APRIL 30th:  Volunteer Application    Please go online and look at the bottom right corner of the webpage for the Junior Volunteer Program application.  The hours would be during the summer and would count toward the first semester of next year.

Holy Trinity Night at the Races 2015 at St. Patrick's of Merna
What:  
Volunteering to assist with day care offered to parents so they can attend.  8th Graders will be watching the kids and we would be supervising the 8th graders.  It is a fundraiser for their class as well as for the school.  A great opportunity to get to know some incoming freshmen.  This will count as Community Service, so if you have not done one hour you may do so now.  Remember that hours are due by May 4th.  If you wish to volunteer then click on this link and sign up:  Night at the Races Daycare Volunteer

Volunteering to assist with the different aspects of running the Special Olympics track and field events.  You would be assisting with the games or the athletes directly.  If you wish to volunteer then click on this link and sign up:  Special Olympics Volunteer    Remember that all Service Hours are due by May 4th, so this is a good way to finish on time.
