Pro-Life March


Pro-Life March 
The Pro Life March pilgrimage allows upperclassmen in Vita Christi to voice there opinion by letting them march on the U.S. Supreme Court. The trip is open to Seniors in Vita Christi first, then the Juniors in Vita Christi, It is a great time for our students to support their faith by protesting the legality of abortion in our Nation. Besides marching on the Supreme Court we take a tour around Washington D.C. and visit some of the most prominent landmarks of our Nation's capital.  We also visit the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.



Requirements for attending the pilgrimage:

1.  You must be an active member of Vita Christi
2.  Active participation in Vita Christi events
3.  Fulfilling the membership duties of a Vita Christi member
4.  Remembering that this is NOT a Senior Trip, but a pilgrimage to protest the legality of
 abortion in our land.


Details of the Pilgrimage

Wednesday, January 20th, 2016
     - We will depart from Central Catholic at 4:30 pm
 
Saturday, January 23rd, 2016
     - We should return home to Central Catholic around 7:00 am

Please note that we will take 48 students on the pilgrimage, but you must be an active member of Vita Christi to attend this pilgrimage.  Application to attend the March will be in late November/early December.
  
A more detailed itinerary will be made available when we are closer to the March for the parents of each student attending the March.

 

Pro-Life March Chicago 
March for Life Chicago
The Pro Life March Chicago allows all students to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.  We March in Chicago from the Federal Building to the State Building, showing our solidarity for the Right to Life on both the Federal and State level.  The March is open not only to Vita Christi members, but all students.  It is a great time for our students to support their faith by protesting the legality of abortion in our Nation. It is also a way for the underclassmen to get involved and speak up for the unborn.


Requirements for attending the pilgrimage:

1.  You must be a current student
2.  You must be in good standing and not on probation or suspension


Details of the Pilgrimage

Sunday, January 17th,  2016
     - We will depart from Central Catholic at 10:30 am
     - We should return to Central around 7:00 pm
 

Please note that we will take as many students as wish to attend this March.  Sign up to attend the March will be in late December/early January.
