The 6th Annual Mad Hatters Trivia Night is Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. There will be prizes for the winning team as well as the team with the best hats! Teams may be 4-6 people. Can't Make it to the Game?
If you can't make a Saints home basketball game, you can watch it on-line at http://www.livestream.com/cchstv. Both Boys' and Girls' Varsity games will be broadcast starting with the December 6th Boys' game against Rantoul.
John Lancaster Spalding Scholarship Fund Grants
Tuition assistance scholarship grants from the endowment fund established as a result of the Diocese of Peoria ROOTED IN FAITH Campaign will be available for the 2012 - 2013 school year for students enrolled in or intending to enroll in grades kindergarten through 12 in any Catholic school located in the Diocese of Peoria whose families are members of a Catholic parish in the diocese. Click here for the application form and more information. Families of students currently receiving grants are reminded that all grants are for one year only and anyone seeking to renew a grant for 2012 - 2013 must reapply. Deadline for the completed application is February 15, 2012. Notification of grant awards will be made by mid-April.

Heartland Community College courses to be offered next year at CCHS-any sophomores or juniors who wish to be eligible to take the Heartland Community College courses to be offered next year on the CCHS campus should let Mr. Krumwiede know of their interest. HCC representatives will be here on February 7, at 8 a.m., to do the placement testing required to take Heartland classes. A list of classes available, and their descriptions, is listed under Counselors' Corner , and the tab HCC at CCHS. These courses will be offered for dual credit. Heartland will charge our students their current tuition rate.
10th Annual OSF Healthcare Career Fair-CCHS students who are interested in health care related careers are invited to sign up to go on a field trip to this event on February 29. Click on the Counselors' Corner tab for more information. See Mr. Krumwiede to sign up for this trip.
There will be a presentation at CCHS on summer internships available in the IT Department at State Farm on February 9. The presentation will be from 12:30 until 1:00 in Mrs. Daniels' classroom.
Juniors- The registration deadline has passed for the Feb. 11 ACT test date. The next test date for the ACT is April 14, 2012. The deadline for registration is March 9. Go to the ACT tab under the Counselors' Corner website for additional ACT information.

Senior Checklist - Just a reminder of where seniors should be on the college application timeline.
1. You should be making the last of your college visits at this time.
2. College applications should be completed.
3. All seniors who wish to apply for scholarships should have started an account on www.fastweb.com
4. Parents should fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) after January 1, 2012.
