Tuition for 2010/2011 School Year A prepayment of $275 per student is due at the time of registration.
The actual cost of educating a Central Catholic student is $9125. This means that every Catholic student that attends CCHS receives a $3435 discount. Further discounts are available to qualifying families through financial assistance/scholarships. A quality education is an investment in your child’s future. We strive to keep the cost of this investment as low as possible for the families that we serve. The difference between the actual cost and tuition is subsidized by the partner parishes and CCHS advancement efforts.
Financial Assistance/Scholarships Central Catholic High School utilizes the services of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to assess the financial needs of families requesting assistance. For use of the FACTS Management, a one-time annual $45 processing fee will be charged and added to your total tuition per family. FACTS Management will send an initial invoice to families and allow each to pick the payment options that best suit the family. Families who choose the annual payment will not be assessed the $45 administrative FACTS fee and for those families, payment will be due in full July 1, 2010.
If financial assistance is needed, families are required to complete both the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and John Lancaster Spalding application. Applications are to be completed and postmarked by February 15, 2010. Any applications received after the due date are put on a waiting list, and will only be processed if there are funds available. FACTS analyzes the family’s size, income, assets, and the state and/or metropolitan area where the family resides to determine how much tuition the family can pay. FACTS processes this information, then sends a report to CCHS listing the families in order of need. Using this information, CCHS and the Pastors determine the amount of assitance for each family. CCHS notifies the family of the grant awarded by July 1, 2010.
The FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and John Lancaster Spalding application will be mailed to current families with registration information in January 2010. Prospective families may contact CCHS for applications. Parents may also go to www.factstuitionaid.com to apply online.
