Announcements:

Seeking replacements for MPA Board Members for 2015-16
We have openings for a few positions on our MPA Board for the upcoming 2015-16 school year.  It is a great way to get involved and help support the wonderful music program at our school, which is such a great benefit to our kids.  If you are interested, please contact Lisa Hartness (tyorlisa@mchsi.com) or Judy Clark (judei1@hotmail.com) for more info. The positions that are open are:  President, Fundraising, and Communications.    

Big Group Concert and Senior Night - Weds. May 20th at 7pm 

Join us for an evening of music performed by our bigger groups including Concert Choir, Concert Band and Jazz Band.  Senior music students will be recognized.  Also, as is the tradition, alumni and friends are invited to help close out the evening by joining the band on stage for the final song.  This year the final song will be "Lean On Me".  

Tux and Dress Return - Weds. May 20th thru Fri. May 22nd 
All items should be returned in a garment bag labeled with the student's name.  They can be returned immediately after the concert on Wednesday May 20th, or at latest by the end of the school day on Friday May 22nd.  There will be racks in the music hallway to hang the returned items.  Boys, please be sure to gather all items including shoes, cuff links, studs, cummerbund, shirt, and bow tie, as well as tux.

Music Dept. Trip to New Orleans - departs Thursday May 28th      


Membership
Membership in the Music Parents' Association is open to any parent, step-parent, or legal guardian of a student enrolled in the music program at Central Catholic High School.

The Music Parents Association board meets monthly - usually the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the choir room.  Below are the tentative dates for the 2015 - 2016 school year.
