Vita Christi is a religious group at Central Catholic. It literally means the "life of Christ", but is summed up by the subtitle: His life transforming our life. These students make spiritual commitments to promote the faith and pro-life activities in our school. They raise funds to attend the National Right to Life March to oppose legalized abortion in our country. Their commitments include: 1) Going to Mass one day a week other than Sunday 2) Praying publically everyday for our school 3) Going to confession at least once a month 4) Promoting and attending Eucharistic Adoration every Friday 5) Promoting the right to life for all.
Vita Christi will be sponsoring "24 dollars for 24 hours" on March 18-19. Students will fast for twenty-four hours to raise money for St. Mary's Soup Kitchen and their efforts for the poor. Last year we raised over $5,000 in one day.
