About Me

Hello! This is my second year at Central Catholic High School. I am thrilled to be a Theology and World Studies teacher here at CCHS. Being a part of a high school student’s faith formation is an honor!  I am a graduate of Illinois State University.  My degree is a Bachelor of Sciences in Social Sciences Education.  Fortunately while at ISU I spent much time growing in my faith at the St. Robert Bellarmine Newman Center. My time spent in fellowship, retreats, bible studies, etc. has helped prepare me for this position as a Theology teacher.  I am excited to grow leaps and bounds in my faith as well as with the students!

During my time at ISU I was not only heavily involved at the Newman Center, but I spent much of my time committing myself to service of the community through various programs.  In particular I spent 4 years working in the Alternative Spring Break program.  In this program I helped organize, prepare, and participate in Alternative Spring Breaks in which students would travel across the country to participate in service work.  I have always had a passionate heart for service and hope to install that passion into my students. This past summer I spent at Bethlehem Farm  in West Virginia, which is a Catholic service community that is very close to my heart.  My time at Bethlehem Farm was one that helped me grow in my faith and strive to always be a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.

This year at Central Catholic I will be helping run the Freshmen Class; so come help us out for homecoming Feel free to e-mail me if you ever have any questions!
