Straight From the Saints
Prerequisite: Students must be upperclassmen and work with the advisor and editor(s) to get articles written and the newspaper distributed weekly. This class will learn about journalistic style, design, and history in creating a newspaper. This class will improve writing skills, and students will even get to see their name in print with the publication of Straight From the Saints, our weekly informational newspaper. Students are required to participate in the newsletter and should be open to interviewing and writing about students, faculty, staff, and events. Issues that relate to the Catholic faith will be discussed from a Catholic perspective. The newsletter shall try to capture the spirituality of CCHS as to “Share the Good News.”
