COURSE OVERVIEW
English 9 will cover Short Stories, Non-Fiction, Modern Drama, Poetry, a Shakespearean Drama, Mythology, and Novels. The Shakespearean Drama is Romeo and Juliet. The Modern Drama is The Miracle Worker, and the Novels are To Kill A Mockingbird and Inherit the Wind. The Non-Fiction this year is a short novel: Oneness - Angiolina - The 1909 Cherry Mine Disaster. The authors, Dean and Lorena Cotton will be here to introduce the novel in January.
