Miss Booth is originally from Des Plaines, IL, a suburb of Chicago.  She attended Elk Grove High School and then Illinois Wesleyan University.  She majored in Hispanic Studies with a concentration in Secondary Education.  She studied abroad in the Dominican Republic and student taught at Normal Community High School.  She taught middle school Spanish for three years in Glenview, IL before starting her current position at Central Catholic High School as the Spanish 1, 4, and 5 teacher in the fall of 2012.  She graduated with her Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Illinois State University in May 2017.  Miss Booth sponsors Interact Club and Spanish Club.  She also helps run the ladies Fiat Retreat and the March for Life trip to Washington DC. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, working out, kayaking, camping, playing with her dog, Lucy, and photography.  Miss Booth also enjoys traveling and has visited countries all over the world.  Her travels have caused her to become interested in human rights and education around the world.  She enjoys sharing this passion with students and working with them to serve our local and international communities.
