Ways to Give to Central Catholic High School

Picture

Through The Fund for Central Catholic, we are able to fulfill our commitment to making an outstanding Catholic education affordable and accessible to every student who seeks it. The actual cost of educating a young man or woman for the year is more than the affiliated tuition charged. Contributions to the Fund for Central Catholic help make up the difference and represent the generosity of the entire Central Catholic community. In addition to providing tuition support, these monies help meet the ongoing expenses of operating and maintaining the high school.
Central Catholic recognizes the following giving levels:

The Saints Leadership Society
Elizabeth Ann Seton Society   $10,000 +
Pope John Paul II Society   $5,000 - $9,999
Mother Teresa Society   $2,500 - $4,999
Fulton J. Sheen Society   $1,000 - $2,499

Loyalty Club Gift
The Fleur-de-Lis Club   $500 - $999
The Grotto Club   $250 - $499
The Patron Club   $100 - $249
The Blue and Gold Club   $1 - $99

Give online
You may use your Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover to securely give to The Fund for Central Catholic by clicking here.

Check or Credit Card
Checks are always welcome and should be payable to Central Catholic High School with The Fund for Central Catholic in the memo. You may also make your gift by credit card. Simply notify the Advancement Office by phone 309.661.7000 or donate online.

Matching Gift
Your employer may match your donation. Here is a list of most national companies who offer matching gift programs. While this list is comprehensive, there are additional companies who offer giving programs but are not listed.  If your company is not on this list, please talk with your employer about the possibility of making a matching gift to send to Central Catholic. Also, be aware that most companies have a window of time  to  claim your gift. The Advancement Office will certify any gift application and return it to your employer.

State Farm Good Neighbor Grant Program
The State Farm Companies Foundation awards a $500 grant on behalf of each eligible State Farm associate (active employee, agent, or retiree) who volunteers a minimum of 40 hours a year to an eligible nonprofit organization. State Farm Companies must receive completed applications with required documentation by January 31 of the following year in which services were volunteered. Eligible participants must volunteer a minimum of 40 hours for the same organization from January 1 to December 31. Volunteer service may include (but is not limited to) board service, committee work, and fund raising.

Pledges
You may make a pledge to the Fund for Central Catholic by phone, mail or online. Pledges should be completed by the close of the fiscal year, June 30. The Advancement Office will send you reminders according your designated payment schedule throughout the year.

Saints Alive
The CCHS annual dinner auction gala, Saints Alive, is the party of parties at Central Catholic. Please plan on attending to help support your Saints. This event requires intensive volunteer support. Please e-mail Maggie Stolfa  to lend your efforts to this event.

Planned Giving
We hope that you will consider making a gift to Central Catholic High School as part of your estate planning. A Planned Gift to CCHS can take many forms and provides long term support for the school as well as tax benefits for the donor. CCHS welcomes planned gifts in the form of Bequests, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, Life Insurance and can assist donors who wish to include any of these in their estate planning. For more information contact the Office of Advancement by email at 309.661.7000.

Memorial Named Gifts
Gifts may be offered in the name of yourself or a loved one. Bricks are available for our Path of Support for $50. Other naming opportunities are also available by contacting the Advancement Team at 309.661.7000.

Named Scholarship Endowments
Endowment scholarship funds ensure Central Catholic can provide the highest quality education to any student wishing to answer the challenge. Gifts specified for endowment purposes are placed in the Central Catholic Foundation and can be designated to support scholarships according to the donor’s wishes.
There are a number of ways to show your support for CCHS, some of which may offer you substantial tax advantages. The following list shows the most common gift mechanisms, and we would certainly be happy to discuss any other idea that you may have.
  • Cash Gifts - can be a one-time gift, pledged over a certain amount of months.
  • Credit Card - Visa or MasterCard can be used to make a one-time gift or regular pledge payments.
  • Appreciated Securities - there is a possibility of substantial tax advantages using this method. It is a simple, electronic means to support Alter.
